Hello, this is Tim, with ace appliance, in, Toledo Ohio and welcome back to another in home. Diagnostic video brought to you by appliance video comm, so we’re on a Whirlpool dishwasher with a blinking clean light and that blinking clean light indicates that there is some problem after that, you need to determine what exactly is going on on this particular one. It’s one of the more common problems and we’ll open up the on this. One will be a very visual thing to show what is going on and we’ll just open this guy up and the first thing we do with the blinking clean light is to inspect the element. Okay, one of the the common problems for the blinking clean light is that the the heater is bad and if we can visually see on this one that the the heater is bad, you know. Certainly, you can check it from the the back connections and ohm out through the heater or through the control, but this is no doubt what’s going on with it. The next thing we’ll do is show you the diagnostic mode to be able to run the machine once the blinking. Clean light happens. Okay, so if you can’t visually see what’s going on to get the machine out of the blinking clean light and into its diagnostic mode to continue troubleshooting, all we need to do is hit the normal and heated dry, normal and heated dry, and Once you do it three times, you’ll notice, all the LEDs illuminate, and at this point it will just run through its its cycle so that you can diagnose it, but it will also be able to allow the customer to run it at least one more Time before it happens again, but you know during this, if we weren’t sure of what was wrong, we could continue troubleshooting.
