How to Replace Your Bathroom Faucet

If you decide to tackle changing your bathroom faucet yourself, here are a few tips to make things a little easier.

One of the toughest issues with changing a bathroom faucet, is trying to work in such a confined space. I always find some big old towels to help cushion my back when I am under the sink.

A few special tools are usually need to remove the old faucet, while most new faucets come with tools designed for that specific faucet.

  • A pair of water pump pliers (channel locks)
  • A basin wrench
  • set of deep sockets
