So you have made the choice to redo your roof yourself, Great, I love Do It Yourselfers. I probably goes without saying, but Safety First, know what you are up against and keep your mind on the task at hand, it is easy to get distracted and your roof is not the place to let that happen. It is always a good idea to have at least 2 people on the job in case of an issue.
When you decide to rip off the old roof, it is a good idea to check the weather forecast as you don’t want to have the shingles ripped and a thunderstorm show up. If you need to get it done aand the weather is iffy, do the roof in sections, rip and replace as you go.
If you are not use to doing this type of work it can be tiring, take your time and take breaks.
